Summerfest Baby Races

Saturday, August 1st

When: Following the parade, about 12:00 Noon

Where:  Magnolia Garden Center Parking Lot (32nd W. and W. Smith St.)  Map

What:  A fun and very cute crawling "race" to see which baby gets to the finish line first or if they even leave the start line! 

Who:  Any crawler.  Must not be able to walk.  Walkers will be disqualified!  Prizes to all contestants.  Sign up at Magnolia Garden Center

Christmas Tree lighting, Magnolia Village Holiday Open House

Caroling, lots of Christmas treats served by your favorite Magnolia merchants, Christmas shopping, mingle with your Magnolia neighbors and enjoy the pre-Christmas festivities.  Caroling begins at 5:30 with the Tree lighting at 6:00 PM.

Magnolia Haunted Halloween

All kids welcome to trick-or-treat the Magnolia Village.  Friday, October 30 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.  Magnolia Garden Center giant inflated haunted house for the younger tricksters will be open with treats waiting for those brave enough to pass through the maze!

September Girls Night Out

It's a party!  As a way of saying thanks to all who have supported us through the winter and this spring we are inviting everyone to come on in and enjoy free hot dogs and refreshments.  We'll be able to spend some time with you to help with your gardening questions and problems.  And of course you'll be able to check out all of our great spring plants now ready to go into your gardens or containers.  Whether you want to find out the best way to grow tomatoes or are just looking to add some color to your patio come on down to relax for while on Thursday evening, May 14.

Gift shop special will include a presentation on orchids and orchid care.  If you've ever wondered just how to keep these beautiful plants blooming in your house come in and talk with the expert.  We'll also have lots of early spring vegetables and herbs for planting, together with all the help you'll need in information to help you prepare your garden for the planting season.

It's time for a "Guys and Gals' Night Out" in Magnolia Village!  One with shopping, tasting, sipping and pampering!  The monthly "Night Out" series are events just for you on the second Thursday of every month.  Better yet - we, the participating merchants of this great event, want to reward you for coming into our stores!

There will be door prizes, gifts with purchases and exclusive offers so you don't want to miss this event!  Leave the kids with dad and head out for a fabulous night with your BFF!

Saturday February 7, 2009 

Clean N Green Clean-up in Magnolia.  Volunteers cleaned up the Village and some of the surrounding streets in the Magnolia neighborhood.  Garden Center owner Margaret Flaherty led one of the clean-up groups around the Village raking up, picking up trash and getting things generally spruced up.
